#001: Say "Yes" to God's Whatever

Equipping the saints, blank paper, & more

Welcome to The Journey!

We hope the launch of this podcast finds you well and growing in your faith.

For our first episode, we explored the idea that the journey never ends because God is always trying to take you some place new. Your journey requires constant surrender and openness to wherever God’s trying to take you or whatever He’s asking you to do.

Of course, for most people, the calling is not about “vocational ministry.” Instead, it’s about how you live your faith in every aspect of your life.

Here are a few takeaways from the episode:

  • God is continually working in your life, calling you to new places both spiritually and sometimes physically.

  • Being open to God’s “whatever” allows Him to work in unexpected ways in your life. Think about signing the bottom of a blank sheet of paper and allowing God to fill in the details.

  • Every Christian has a ministry. Whether it be in vocational ministry or the work force, you have plenty of opportunities to serve God and influence others. Are you doing that?

As you listen to this week’s episode, challenge yourself to be more intentional in your walk with Christ. How can you be more open to the call of God for your life? In what ways can you use your current circumstances as a platform for ministry?
